Mega-popular variety show “Ityadi” is the brainchild of Hanif Sanket, who is the writer, director and host of the show as well. The show is known for new ideas, diverse subjects it addresses with a generous dose of humour and much more.
Like every year, the special episode of “Ityadi” this Eid will start with the ever-familiar Nazrul Sangeet, “Ramzaner Oi Rozar Sheshey,” without which Eid for Bengalis seem incomplete.
More than a thousand artistes have taken part in the two-minute long song. The music video was shot at Cox's Bazar beach.
Mingling folk and pahari (hilly) tunes, an innovative dance performance is likely to add a new dimension to the show. Renowned dancers Shibli Mohammad and Shamim Ara Nipa, their troupe and a number of pahari dancers have taken part in the dance.
Featuring nine singers -- Partha Barua, Agun, Shakila Zafar, Fahmida Nabi, Fakir Alamgir, Biplob, Hasan, Selim Chowdhury and Kuddus Boyati -- a musical sketch is another highlight. The sketch will depict Eid shopping, price hike and conjugal conflict.
Models -- Emon, Monalisa, Nirob, Sarika, Sajal and Munmun -- have taken part in another dance performance highlighting the various aspect of young love.
Written and composed by Mohammad Rafiquzzaman and Ali Akbar Rupu, a patriotic song will be rendered by the diva Sabina Yasmin on the show.
Seasoned TV actors Shahiduzzaman Selim and Tarin have taken part in a skit, which involves casting of an actor in a lead role.
Apart from these, at least 50 expatriates living in Bangladesh and a number of veteran artistes like ATM Shamsuzzaman, Fakhrul Hasan Boiragi, Abdul Kader and others have taken part in the regular segments of “Ityadi” and other humorous presentations.
Produced by Fagun Audio Vision, the show will be sponsored by Keya Cosmetics Limited. “Ityadi” will be aired on BTV on the second day of Eid-ul-Fitr after the 8 pm news.
