RAB DG new police chief

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) director general Hassan Mahmood Khandker has been appointed as the new Inspector General of Police (IGP).

The former IGP Nur Mohammad has been withdrawn to the foreign ministry to be appointed as an ambassador.

Police's deputy inspector general of Rajshahi range Mokhlesur Rahman has been appointed as the new RAB chief.

Home secretary Abdus Sobhan Shikder told bdnews24.com at the ministry on Monday, an directive will soon be issued.
