case aginst Salahuddin Quader Chowdhury in the Chittagong District
Senior Judicial Magistrate Court on Dec 3, 2009.

The
complaint says, Chowdhury at a BNP rally on Nov 20, 2009 last year
said: "August 15 is an important day in the nation's life. On this day,
the nation was freed from one-party rule. If August 15 had not
happened, the people would not get back their right to vote."
He
also commented on the trial of Bangabandhu murder, saying, "The nation
did not accept the verdict. But we have much to learn from the murder."
Mofizuddin had said the comments were provocative and seditious.
