The all-party parliamentary probe committee will place before the House its findings on July 7 of the investigation into corruption allegations against former speaker Jamiruddin Sircar, his deputy Akhtar Hamid Siddiqui and former chief whip Khandaker Delwar Hossain.
Shahjahan Khan, a member of the Jatiya Sangsad body formed to investigate corruption allegations levelled against Sircar, said this while talking to The Daily Star after a meeting of the committee today.
Sources said the committee will submit its report before the parliament with a set of recommendations.
Earlier on June 27, the three BNP leaders skipped meeting the body, which summoned them to defend graft charges against them.
Sircar and Hamid however contacted the committee and explained in writing why they stayed away from attending the meeting.
But Delwar, incumbent BNP secretary general, did not communicate with anyone concerned.
