The BNP-led opposition lawmakers staged walk out once again, just minute after the resumption of the parliament on Sunday with the demand for expunging the home minister's recent remark on late president Ziaur Rahman.
Parliament session began at 3:00pm.
Earlier on Thursday night, Home Minister Sahara Khatun in a statement in parliament said, "Jamaat-Shibir, who got back their political rights under patronage of killers Zia-Mushtaque, are carrying out subversive activities to foil the trial of the war criminals."
Lawmakers of BNP and allies staged a stormy walkout in protest at Sahara's comment. They did not get back to participate in the thanksgiving motion on the president's address that night.
Before returning on Thursday afternoon, the opposition had stayed off parliament for 64 consecutive sittings since June.
